CHRIS & COTY'S MONEY TIPS

Ever wish you could rip the last two weeks of the calendar right out of your life? Well, that's the kind of fourteen days Chris and I have had.

Running a home business has so many perks they are hard to list. Work in your pajamas, eat when you feel like it, run an errand if needed, stop to watch your favorite soap. Whatever, it's great.

But there is also the problem of trying to keep focused when you are staring at a sink full of dishes or a dusty floor or trying to get needy pets off of you so you can concentrate and work.

Somewhere in the middle of all this, we need to take care of real estate and investment business - not to mention it's tax time - and do our research for the website.

And in addition to all of the above, we have family obligations.

I imagine this pretty much describes your lives as well. We are all busy with working, taking care of others and trying to keep on top of responsibilites. But somewhere in the center of this mess, Chris and I take time for ourselves.

We are both avid readers and I have several writing projects to work on. Sometimes all we have time for is a quick text message of support for each other and sometimes we spend an hour on the phone planning the website and solving problems.

I think that's what gets us through the day. That and ripping the calendar to shreds on a regular basis !
